Pagani Zonda 750 Edition

October 8, 2010 at 6:40 pm

This is the latest edition of the Pagani Zonda, built as a one-off for a rich Arab customer. Actually all Zondas made to date are kinda one-off becasue each of them are bespoke and exclusive to their owners and each are a little bit different than others, even if it’s just the color. And speaking of the color, the 750 is one of the worst in that aspect! Regardless of the purple paint job, it seems that the car’s aerodynamics is reaching a level of perfection with the 750, as you can clearly notice some new bits on it. And since it’s called the 750, it’s safe to presume that the V12 AMG engine in it makes 750 hp.

As one of the best makers of high performance braking systems, AP Racing wants to bring racing-grade products to the roads with a selection of sporty cars from Audi, BMW and Volkswagen. These brakes are also virtually fade free and feature dust seals and a durable anti-corrosion finish. All Formula Big Brake Kits also come complete with AP Racing Brake Pads, developed and tailored to suit AP Racing Calipers.

DeltaWing IndyCar Concept

February 13, 2010 at 5:35 pm

As the officials in IRL are busy finding a replacement for the current Indycar race cars for the next season, an ex-designer of Lola has come up with a new idea! Presented at the 2010 Chicago Autoshow, it’s the DeltaWing IndyCar which is designed for a cheaper, safer more eco-minded kind of Indy racing series. Therefore it’s powered by a 300 hp 2.0-literĀ  four-cylinder turbo engine! But at 1,030 lbs, it is really really light, and its shape which look like one of those speed record machines is also very cool. So down on power it might be, but thanks to the lightweight and bang-on aerodynamic, the designer hopes that his car would go as fast 235 mph! It’s all [...]

Hennessey Performance is best known as an American tuner with an insatiable thirst for horsepower! But with their huge resources they are now trying to make their very own supercar, and apparently things are going on pretty well. It’s called the Venom GT and as you see from the renderings that company has released it is based on the Lotus Elise, but it’s wider and bigger, and of course more powerful. It actually has a lot more power than the Elise. The Venom GT is said to have a mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 which can produce up to a 1000 hp and 950 lb-ft of torque. It’ll eat the Lotus for breakfast! It also has other supercar-ish features like sequential gearbox, [...]
