The annual Race of Champions showdown this year will show how in tune with the time it is by bringing a gas-powered VW Scirocco as one of the cars the champions will drive.

The Scirocco R-Cup race car marks the first time a vehicle powered by gas has competed in the event. It has 275 PS and its 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI engine run on bio-CNG which reduces CO2 emissions by 80 per cent, an incredible performance compared to gasoline model.
