After the Porsche 911 Black, the German sportscar maker unveiled a new black version based on the cheaper Boxster S. Like its bigger brother, the Boxster Black which is limited to 987 units features a fascinating black paint job and an uprated 3.4 liter flat-six with 320 hp that enables the car to go from zero to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 276 km/h while averaging 9.8 liter per 100 km. This version also gets exclusive 19-inch black wheels. Porsche has added a new variant to the Boxster family called the Spyder. The car is a focused lightweight version of the car which offers pure open-top driving fun. The car features manual fabric roof, aluminium doors, lightweight carbon fibre sports bucket seats, and lightweight design of the 19” Spyder alloy wheels. All of these components make the car fairly lightweight at only 1,275 Kg. The Spyder is powered by a tweaked version of Boxster’s 3.4-litre flat six ‘boxer’ engine with Direct Fuel Injection with 320 hp. Porsche has revealed their latest car which is a new member for the Boxster family, called the Spyder. Boxster Spyder is built using styling cues from the legendary 550 Spyder and technical cues from the RS Spyder racer. It is a lightweight sportscar which, according to Porsche, is a pure driving machine. It comes with a mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine with Direct Fuel Injection which has 320 hp and coupled to the PDK gearbox. The car weights only 1,27g kg, so with this much power it’s become quit a performer.
