Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept

Lotus has developed a new GT racer based on the Evora GT4 to cope with the new regulations in GT2/GTE class. The source of power in this new Evora racer, which Lotus is adamant is a concept for the time being, is a 4-litre DOCH V6 VVT-i engine prepared by the best name in business, Cosworth. This powerplant makes 440 bhp @ 7,000 rpm and 460 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm which is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential transmission. Other features of this good looking racer include aluminium chassis and double wishbone suspension with Ohlins components. One of the most anticipated cars to be unveiled at Paris Motor Show this year is the Lotus Evora Automatic. They have introduced the Evora S as a sort of sporty and track-focused version and now present the automatic IPS version for those who want to be fast and comfortable at the same time. This model features the IPS (Intelligent Precision Shift) system and comes with the standard 3.5 l V6 engine delivering 280 PS. Lotus Evora Cup GT4 at Nurburgring

As promised Lots has prepared the racing version of the Evora, called the GT4, and it makes its racing debut at Nurburgring European GT4 Championships race. Apart from its GT career, this Evora will be also used in a one make Evora Cup series. The car is specially lightened (weighs 1190 kg – 200 less than road-going Evora) and at 360 hp it’s even more powerful than the recently revealed Evora S. It is also a great looking racing car featuring Lotus Motorsport Green livery with a yellow twin-stripe running down the centre.

Jarno Trulli helps developing Lotus Evora Cup

The Italian F1 driver Jarno Trulli has joined Lotus Cosworth Formual1 team for the new season and like his teammate, Heikki Kovalainen, he has got a new Lotus Evora. But Trulli has been assigned a new and fun task by the motorsport company and that’s helping with the development of the Evora Cup race car! Lotus Evora Cup Race Car

The lovely Lotus Evora has spawned a new variant, which again has roots in motorsport. It is the new Evora Cup which will debut at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham. This version of Evora is developed with FIA GT4 regulations in mind, which make it also eligible for racing in other GT series in Europe. Lotus has also plans for a one-make racing series for this car. Lotus Evora Cup is equipped with a tricked-out 4. liter V6 which develops 400 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and about 295 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.
