New Audi R15 TDI For 2010 Le Mans

Audi’s magnificent diesel race car has not very busy this year, but because of that the engineers had enough time to work on it and make it much much better. The Audi R15 TDI is gunning for this year’s 24 hours of Le Mans. Internally called the R15 Plus, the car features a new design with a new livery which now contains more red than silver! As you know due to the last year’s economic turmoil Audi and its brilliant diesel-powered LMP1 racer are not taking part in most of the 2010 events. But they will attend the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and they are preparing well! This year they will use a new version of the R15 TDI which has been revised and upgraded in an Evolution program. It comes with better aerodynamics, cooling system and new fuel tank. Jaguar to race at 2010 Le Mans with the RSR XKR

As it turns 75 the most successful British brand in racing is set to make a big return to 2010 Le Mans 24 hours. The race that the have won seven times between 1951 and 1990. The car they will use is a Jaguar RSR XKR GT2 spec which was initially developed for American Le Mans Series by the American RSR team. It will be driven by Scott Pruett and Marc Goossens. C.J. Aston Martin LMP1 in Le Mans, ELMS and ALMS

Aston Martin officially confirmed that their LMP1 prototype racer is preparing for 2010 24 hours of Le Mans and also two rounds of American Le Mans Series, as well as one round of European Le Mans Series. The car will wear the legendary Gulf blue and orange livery in all of the events. The European race it’ll take part is the opening round of ELMS in Paul Ricard circuit. The American races include the 12 hours of Sebring and the Long Beach Grand Prix.
