That makes the 458 the model which has received the highest number of the industry’s leading international accolades ever. Ferrari 458 Challenge Makes U.S. Debut

Next weekend at the beginning of North American at Infineon Raceway, Ferrari Challenge Series Ferrari 458 Challenge, the fifth and latest generation of Ferrari Challenge cars will make its American debut. To make this event just a bit more special, the Corse Clienti Department’s 599XX, FXX and F1 Clienti programs will also participate on the track.  Further, the Ferrari F430 Challenge will compete alongside its successor, the new Ferrari 458 Challenge. I know it doesn’t look like it at first, but this is the new Ferrari we’ve been waiting for the whole 2010! It’s called the Ferrari Four and there’s a clue. Being a replacement for the 612 Scaglietti, it has four seats. But it also has four-wheel-drive. And one more thing in case you have not noticed yet, it’s a shooting brake. The only country in the world we can think of that they allow this is Italy! Here’s a footage of Ferrari 458 Challenge, which is a race car, traveling on the streets of Maranello to reach Fiorano test track to have a couple of laps. The track footage is astonishing, but even more amazing is the presence of a racing car on the streets! After all Ferrari runs the city of Maranello and they can do whatever they want. As for the car itself, this lightened and stripped-out version of the 458 from 2011 will replace the current F430 Challenge in Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, to become the fifth model used by Ferrari in its one-make championship. Ferrari 458 GTC Revealed

Ferrari revealed the first pictures of their new GT car based on the 458 Italia. It’s called the Ferrari 458 GTC and recently had a two day shakedown at Fiorano test track in the hands of Jaime Melo, the Brazilian who competed in this year’s American Le Mans Series with the Risi Competizione team. Although there’s no details available on it yet, but boy does it look good! The car will report to duty next season and will be competing against rivals in different GT and endurance series all over the world.
