Apparently BMW’s M division is hard at work developing a very hot version of the 1-Series Coupe, which reportedly will have 350 hp. The source of power is the firm’s 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine which is an engineering marvel. It has already proved its great capabilities in different models and now it is here to create a rocket pocket out of the 1er! Like all Bimmers, it’ll also be a rear wheel drive car, but with a limited slip diff, sport suspension and sport braking. As for the performance, it certainly will do 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds, but its top speed will be limited to 155 mph. BMW already offers 1-series with M bodykit, but [...]

Here’s the latest coachbuilt Ferrari, developed for an American customer. It’s called the P540 Superfast Aperta, and is inspired by an old one-off Ferrari which was designed for the movie Toby Dammit. Apparently Edward Wilson, the owner, sees the film and says I want to have my very own unique Ferrari! And since his father was the inventor of Cable TV, he’s got the cash, and so he got it! It tool Ferrari only 14 months to make this car out of first sketches. It is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, despite the 612 front-end, but thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber, it is lighter than the 599 and therefore faster and more agile. The P540 features a [...]
