Honda HSV010 Super GT

January 19, 2010 at 7:29 pm

Honda has officially unveiled their new and incredibly hot race car which is developed exclusively for the 2010 Japanese Super GT series. Called the HSV010, it is one of the best looking race cars ever made! The HSV010 GT will replace the current fleet of NSX GT racers, but since there’s no plan to introduce a new generation of road-going NSX, chances that Honda makes a production version of this car are small. Honda HSV010 is powered by a HR10EG longitudinal naturally aspirated 3.4 liter V8 which develops 500+ hp with more than 400 nm of torque. It is fitted with a racing gearbox with steering paddle shifter. It also has electronically assisted Rack and pinion steering system and double [...]

At 2010 Detroit Autoshow Audi revealed a new version of their groundbreaking e-Tron concept which is much closer to the production form. They have also confirmed that this car will spawn the R4 model.  Also, some say that the next gen Audi TT will be based on this. Detroit e-Tron is a two-seater car which is 3.93 meter (154.72 in) long and 1.78 meter (70.08 in) wide and 1.22 meter (48.03 in) tall, so it’s fairly compact. And because it only features two electric motors it is rear-wheel-drive and therefore lighter at 1350 Kg. Two electric motors which are installed on the rear axle develop a combined power of 150 kW (204 hp) with 2,650 Nm of torque (1954.54 lb-ft)! [...]

December 22, 2009 at 4:57 pm

The One-77 is the ultimate expression of an Aston Martin. It is the most radical, the most advanced, the most expensive, and as it turned out, the fastest car the British manufacturer has ever built. The magnificent One-77 is currently doing its very last parts of testings before its planned 2010 launch. One if this tests is the high speed test, where the One-77 surprised everyone by going beyond way expectations. It clocked at 354.86 km/h or about 220 mph. Reportedly, they were only looking for 320 km/h!
