Many people believe that the GT3 RS is the best variant of the 911. It offers the best compromise between a sportscar and a proper racing machine.

And that has been proved at 2010 Nurburgring 24 hours race, by a private team who raced a street-registered GT3 RS non-stop and without a single flaw and then drove home with it!

And the most amazing thing is that the car which was literally in standard condition, apart form some safety features, tires and rear wing, finished 13th overall, between 200 cars. That is very remarkable, specially as it never broke down during the whole race.

The car was driven by former German Touring Car Championship driver Roland Asch, racer and TV commentator Patrick Simon (Germany) and journalists Chris Harris (Great Britain) and Horst von Saurma (Germany).
