Kepler MOTION – 800 hp hybrid supercar
At the 2009 Dubai International Motor Show Kepler Motors reveals its MOTION hybrid, a supercar which will redefine the word supercar!
The Kepler MOTION certainly has got the looks of a supercar, but the most amazing thing about it is the powertrain. They have invented a new system called Dual Powertrain Technology (DPT) which is consisting of a gasoline engine connected to the rear wheels and an electric motor for front wheels. It also makes the car a permanent four-wheel-drive.
The MOTION’s hybrid system includes a Ford EcoBoost twin-turbo 3.5 liter V6 engine with 550 hp and an electric motor capable of an amazing 250 hp. that is a combined power of 800hp in a hybrid vehicle! Kepler MOTION is limited to only 50 units and will be delivered to the customers from 2011. The pricing for this ground braking car has not been announced yet.
