The only country in the world we can think of that they allow this is Italy!

Here’s a footage of Ferrari 458 Challenge, which is a race car, traveling on the streets of Maranello to reach Fiorano test track to have a couple of laps. The track footage is astonishing, but even more amazing is the presence of a racing car on the streets! After all Ferrari runs the city of Maranello and they can do whatever they want.

As for the car itself, this lightened and stripped-out version of the 458 from 2011 will replace the current F430 Challenge in Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, to become the fifth model used by Ferrari in its one-make championship. Ferrari says this car laps the Fiorano track two seconds faster than the F430.
