The combination of Italian design and American muscle power has been delicious! And this car you see here is a new one created by an Italian designer and inspired by muscle cars of the 1960s.

Called the Ferrante V Concept, it’s a stylish and luxurious 2+2 sports coupe developed by the Italian designer Fabio Ferrante. Ferrante is a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of Turin and has undertaken an internship at the Fiat Design research center.

Based on the 1967 Chevrolet Impala, instead of reviving the car Ferrante has combined its traditional features, like the large overhangs especially at the rear, with modern day design elements to arrive at a truly unique shape.

Given the character of this car, the power is likely to come from a muscular small block V8!
