Seat has revealed a new hot edition of the Leon Cupra model for the British market which is the most powerful and fastest production car they’ve ever made. This sporty model which is recognized by its R badges, is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine developing 265 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The Cupra R does 0-62 mph time of 6.2 seconds, and top speed of 155 mph. The car also features a few sporty styling cues over the standard model such as a rear diffuser, discreet extended high level rear spoiler, subtle ‘R’ badging and the careful application of gloss black highlighting inside and out, as well as 19-inch wheels. The Spanish car maker SEAT has released details of their new high performance diesel-powered Ibiza models, the 5-door FR TDI and sporty SC FR TDI. The new Ibiza comes with unique styling cues and a powerful and highly efficient 143hp diesel engine which is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, enabling the car to hit 62 mph from standing still in only 8.2 seconds (8.3 seconds 5dr) with a top speed of 130 mph, while returning 62.7 mpg on the EU’s official combined cycle. Moreover, with only 119 g/km CO2 emission, it is fully compatible with Euro5 standards.
