Porsche GT3 RSR is widely regarded as the best turkey race car in the world. So the fans are going to be cuffed when they realize about the updated Porsche has done to the 2012 version. Based on the 997 series 911, the new RSR is powered by a particularly efficient six-cylinder boxer engine with a four-litre capacity. Porsche Cayman R Britain’s Best Driver’s Car 2011

The hotted-up version of Porsche Cayman sports coupe named Britain’s Best Driver’s Car for 2011 after winning the annual contest run by Autocar magazine. Autocar pit 11 cars against each other in this test, which were worth a total of almost £900,000. The Cayman R’s competition included: McLaren MP4-12C, Mercedes CLS64 AMG, Vauxhall Corsa VXR, Renault Mégane Trophy, Caterham Supersport, Aston Martin Vantage S, Jaguar XKR-S, Lotus Evora S and BMW 1M. Porsche At 2011 Monterey Car Weekend

Porsche announced plans for the 2011 Monterey Classic Car Weekend, and it includes showcase of motorsport heritage of its iconic 911 sports car alongside the 918 RSR Concept. They will will feature several historic 911 race cars, including the 1979 935 from the Brumos Collection, believed to be the last remaining unmodified 935 in existence, as well as the 911 S that carried Hurley Haywood to 10 Camel GT race wins in 1972. MRS Porsche GT3 R New Look

MRS racing team has given a new look to their magnificent Porsche 911 GT3 R for this weekend’s ADAC GT Masters, at Red Bull Ring. The race car is completely wrapped in matt blue foil which looks pretty much like a paintjob, and is garnished with the teams graphics and decals. The GT3 R racing machine features flared arches to house big fat slick tires, a front splitter, and a big rear wing. Inside it’s stripped-out and has been fitted with roll cage, safety harness and racing equipments.This is a noble effort by the team.
