Jaguar’s magnificent C-X75 hybrid supercar concept has been awarded at the 10th annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards in Detroit, MI, with the Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2011 in addition to receiving the Concept Car of the Year award. The C-X75 received the highest overall score among the segment winners in the Car, Truck and Production Preview categories, to earn the night’s coveted award. This marks the first Most Significant Concept Vehicle honor for the brand and the third Concept Vehicle award. The Jaguar ALC concept won in 2005 and the C-XF in 2007. 50 Jaguar E-Type Celebrate E-Type’s 50th Anniversary

These days it’s a huge privilege just to see a single Jaguar E-Type out in the wild. They are usually stored in museum or high-security garages and come out once or twice a year for a meeting. But now for the car’s 50th anniversary,  a fleet of privately 50 owned vehicles travelled in convoy through the Capital to the 2011 Motorexpo in Canary Wharf. That’s a magnificent scene. Yes, there is actually a racing version of the Jaguar XKR luxury coupe! Jaguar and its JaguarRSR team are back for their second year of racing cooperation for 2011 American Le Mans Series with two updated JaguarRSR XKR GT racers. The first year for this car this season is 59th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in Florida, which is also paced by a production XKR. This car is also one of the best looking machines on the grid. 2011 Jaguar XKR is the fastest ever!

Jaguar has released an update for its high-end XKR model for the new year in form of the optional Speed and Black packages. The Speed Pack, apart form its added exterior aero parts and 20-inch wheels, has one great feature! It does not have a speed limiter, so while the standard XKRs can’t go any faster than 155mph, this model can reach 174mph. This is the fastest XK model ever built. Jaguar to race at 2010 Le Mans with the RSR XKR

As it turns 75 the most successful British brand in racing is set to make a big return to 2010 Le Mans 24 hours. The race that the have won seven times between 1951 and 1990. The car they will use is a Jaguar RSR XKR GT2 spec which was initially developed for American Le Mans Series by the American RSR team. It will be driven by Scott Pruett and Marc Goossens. C.J.
