Ken Block’s Gymkhana III Ford Fiesta

Ford has revealed today details of Ken Block’s new toy which he will be using in the upcoming Gymkhana III series to pull off even cooler tricks than before. This new Ford Fiesta is such a beast with up to 850 hp, but for Gymkhana it’s restricted to 650 hp and 660 lb-ft. of torque, and it can go from zero to 60 mph in just two seconds! 2011 Ford Mustang FIA GT3 Racer

The new Ford Mustang is going to face its toughest challenge yet as Marc VDS and Multimatic are going to enter it into 2010 European FIA GT3. The ‘Stang will be competing with Porsches, Vipers, Jaguars, Aston Martins, Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Marc VDS racing, which will be also available to buy for private teams, is powered by a 560 hp 5.3 liter V8 engine. The car is obviously lightened for the job and weighs no more than 1350kg. Ford Focus RS500

Ford has unveiled the most powerful edition of Focus hatchback for Europe which is called the RS500 and is limited to 500 units. This fantastic car comes with a modified version of RS’ turbocharged 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine which develops 350 hp and 460 nm of torque. That is enough for doing zero to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and top speed of 263 km/h. LPG-Powered Ford Focus ST In 2010 BTCC

Team Aon has prepared a Ford Focus ST for the new season of British Touring Car Championship, which unlike other contenders doesn’t run on petrol. This car is powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and makes the Aon team the first ever to use this fuel in BTCC. Apart from technicalities, they hope that switching to LPG brings more media attention to them mainly because the liquefied gas is known as a green fuel.The team’s decision to switch to LPG follows an extensive evaluation programme with the team’s engine development partner Mountune Racing and leading UK supplier Calor.
