Apparently BMW’s M division is hard at work developing a very hot version of the 1-Series Coupe, which reportedly will have 350 hp.

The source of power is the firm’s 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine which is an engineering marvel. It has already proved its great capabilities in different models and now it is here to create a rocket pocket out of the 1er!

Like all Bimmers, it’ll also be a rear wheel drive car, but with a limited slip diff, sport suspension and sport braking. As for the performance, it certainly will do 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds, but its top speed will be limited to 155 mph.

BMW already offers 1-series with M bodykit, but this one will probably get an all-new one, even bolder than the tti model pictured here. The name of this car is still a mystery as well, as the M1 is reserved for BMW’s supercar.
