2012 Nissan NISMO 370Z

Nissan announced pricing and specs for the latest 2012 NISMO 370Z, and it starts at $40,830 USD. For that you get 350 horsepower, racing-inspired exterior and interior styling, a specially tuned suspension and unique super-lightweight forged alloy wheels.

The NISMO 370Z also features a refined 4-wheel independent suspension, NISMO-branded strut tower brace for enhanced body rigidity and a pair of performance dampers to manage road-input vibrations and help contribute to the NISMO 370Z’s high levels of stability and performance feel.  The NISMO-tuned suspension includes special springs and stabilizer bars. It also comes with 5-spoke 19-inch RAYS forged aluminum-alloy wheels.

As for the engine, it is the same 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine as in the normal 370, but it comes with an exclusive H-configured exhaust system design, muffler tuning and optimized ECM (Engine Computer Module) control. It now develops 350 hp instead of 320 and is much more responsive, especially as it’s coupled with a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox and a Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD) .

And as for the visual, the NISMO features an aerodynamic body pieces, including an extended front nose, integrated chin spoiler, special side sills, a unique rear bumper and functional rear spoiler.  The interior includes NISMO logo seats with black and red fabric and red stitching, a NISMO tachometer, steering wheel with smooth leather and red parallel stitching, smooth leather wrapped shift knob and aluminum trimmed pedals.
