2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8
Behold the magnificence of the all-new Chrysler 300 SRT8, the most powerful and the best handling Chrysler to date.
The 2012 SRT8 features a 6.4 liter HEMI V8 which churns out 465 hp and 465 pound-feet (630 Nm) of torque which translates into a 0 to 60 time of 4.5 second and top speed of 175 mph. Chrysler claims it does the quarter mile in 13 seconds which is astonishing for a fat big luxury saloon. It gets very brakes from Brembo as well so it also should be fast round the track.
That’s what Chrysler is hoping, because they invested heavily into developing a new Adaptive Suspension system with sport and comfort modes. That in combination with a host of electronic driving aids and controlling systems should make car behave like a sports car.
The car also comes with a cylinder deactivation system which turns it into a four-cylinder when you are just cruising and engages all eight when you really put your foot down.
