Bentley is launching their new drop-top version of the Continental GT Supersports in America for a starting price of $280,400.

Now the reason that this car has such a hefty price tag is because this is very nearly a perfect car! It’s powered by a W12 Bi-turbo engine developing 621bhp and 590lb ft of torque, which takes it from 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds and gives it a top speed of 202 mph.

It also features ZF 6HP26 transmission, 40/60 rear-biased torque split for the all-wheel drive system, retuned Continuous Damping Control (CDC), lightweight, 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels, advanced ESP system and standard-fit carbon-ceramic brakes.

So it goes and drives very nicely and it offers great comfort and open-top driving, and above all, it’s a Bentley!

“The new Supersports Convertible is the most powerful drop-top we’ve ever produced,” said Christophe Georges, President & Chief Operating Officer for Bentley Motors, Inc. “This extreme power combines with pioneering FlexFuel technology, now shared with all Continental models, reflecting Bentley’s ongoing commitment to more environmental motoring.”
